Welcome! - a message from our founder, Heather Cabral
It's late December 2016 and I am super pumped for 2017. I'm not sure how your year was, but for me... although I am embracing every.single.memory, event, interaction, situation, learning, tear, and strand of development, I am ready for 2017!
I have had some extremely intense learning through the last half of the year, and although it was one of the toughest, most emotional and enlightening times of my life, it has prepared me to lead this community to a place of purpose and intention in 2017 and beyond. The truth is, the person I was in 2016 wasn't ready for that. I didn't want to be seen. I didn't know how to be heard. I didn't know how to accept success. I wasn't 100% clear on what I was doing and frankly, I didn't know how to lead. Today, I can happily say, I'm ready. --- that is ready enough.
This website has been in development for some time. It has somewhat grown with me. Is it perfect? No. But it isn't and never will be "complete". Kind of like us, I suppose. :) As I am reminded, it is just one form of communication and will never tell you the whole story of what we're doing. I invite you to peruse and ask questions or provide feedback if you are so inclined.
If you'd like to get involved, please see the Community page for current opportunities. We are happy to host the events, community and the space that will have you connecting with like-minded people and entrepreneurs who are heart-minded. If you'd like to become a member of our co-workng community, host or co-host an event or gathering at our space, we would love to chat about how we could make that work.
Our Viewsletter will keep you informed. We promise to make it 90 seconds or less! Click here to sign up! Check out our social media profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more as we move into 2017.
All I can say is, lookout 2017!! The Social Beehive team and community are growing and we are going to change lives. From surviving to thriving and drowning to profounding!
I look forward to meeting and inspiring many of you to ditch "supposed to" and to embrace you, your life and your dreams with purposeful intention as you meet new people, experience new activities, learn, heal and grow as we work together to spread kindness, respect, generosity and compassion into our community and throughout our city.
May you have a wonderful, restful, love-filled holiday. See you in 2017!
